Monstera obliqua is an ultra-fenestrated, delicate vining Monstera prized by collectors for its paper-thin leaves with dramatic holes. Keep in bright, filtered light, warm 20–30 °C, and very high humidity (70–90%) with gentle airflow. Use an airy, moisture-retentive mix (bark/perlite/pumice + sphagnum) and keep evenly moist—only the top 1–2 cm should dry between waterings. Provide fine support for vines. Advanced care; slow growth. Securely packed for transit (typically bare-root in moist sphagnum). Natural variation is expected.

Inspect & Tidy Up

Check for broken parts or pests. Use clean scissors to trim any dead or mushy leaves or roots.

Quarantine New Arrival

Keep it away from other plants for 10–14 days. Monitor for pests or stress before rejoining your collection.

Find the Perfect Spot

Place in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct harsh sun, drafts, and heat/AC vents for the first few days.

Water Wisely

Soil is pre-moistened for travel. Water only when the top inch of soil is dry. Do not overwater!

Be Patient & Observe

Some yellowing or drooping is normal. It can take a few weeks to fully acclimate. New green growth is a great sign!

Transport Conditions

Live plants ship in standard transit conditions.

Minimum safe temperature: 0 °C (32 °F). If your destination forecast is at or below 0 °C, you must add a Heat Pack in the Shipping Options at checkout to avoid freezing risk.
